First stop on this foodies train to paradise is Morimoto NYC, located on 10th avenue in Manhattan. Fantastic place for you sushi lovers! I went with a friend of mine and had an amazing experience. From the decor to the food presentation and taste everything was perfect. We started out our evening with a little sushi, I had the Chu-toro which is a medium fatty Tuna, it was so smooth and delicious it felt has if it melted in your mouth. such a high quality and grade of tuna did not come cheap. The Chu-toro was priced at $15 a piece. My friend had gotten the Yellow Tail Pastrami that was served with what seemed to be creme fraiche. It was also very tasty they spices they used on the yellow tail was paired quite nicely with the creme fraiche.

Next came our entree, which we paired with a Montepulciano. I had the Sea Bass and my friend had the seafood Taban Yaki. The food was cooked to perfection. The Sea Bass was so tender and juicy it just fell off the fork. While I myself did not taste the Toban Yaki, I could tell from Pete’s facial expressions that it was good.
